Below is the list of all booking related actions possible in the OYO OS. Open a booking and you can find main actions available right away and other actions under the three vertical dots symbol, as shown in the image below.

Edit Details

Use : View and edit guest details.

Use : Check in  

When : Available only on the scheduled check in day.

Use : Check out  

When : Available only after the booking has been checked in.

Cancel Booking


Use : Cancel a booking  

When : Available only before the booking has been checked in. Enter a reason for cancellation and cancel the booking.

Mark No Show

Use : Mark booking as No Show  

When : Available only after the scheduled check in day has passed.

Update Room

Use : Change room category 

When : Available near the room category and this option can be used even after the guest has checked in. The system will show additional charges, if applicable for upgraded room.

Modify

Use : Change dates of the booking 

When : Check in date cannot be modified after the guest has checked in. Otherwise, you can change dates according to room availability.

Change Occupancy

Use : Change occupancy 

When : Available according to room type and occupancy allowed for each room type.

Assign/Unassign Room

Use : Assign or Unassign room for a booking 

When : 

  • Assign room option is available only when a room is not yet assigned for a booking.

  • Unassign room option is available only when a room is already assigned to a booking. (The system uses an automatic allocation system for assigning rooms.)

Pin/Unpin Room

Use : Block or unblock a specific room for a booking. 

When : 

  • Pin room option is available only for assigned rooms and can be used before the scheduled check in date.

  • Unpin room option is available after a room has been pinned.

Add Bill

Use : Add bill to a booking 

When : Always available except when the guests have checked out of the property.

Add Security Deposit

Use : Add security deposit, cash or identity proof.

When : Always available except when the guests have checked out of the property.

Note : Security deposit feature works according to the settings configured in Settings > Security Deposit screen of OYO OS.

View Details

Use : View details of the bill as of now

When : Available only when bills are configured by the hotel. (To configure bills, go to Settings > Bills )

Collect Payment

Use : Collect payment from the guest

When : Always available except when the guests have checked out of the property. Collect payment as full or partial.

Rate Guest

Use : Rate a guest 

When : Available only after the check out.

Deny CheckIn

Use : Deny check in 

When : Available only of it is enabled for your property.

Mark this as a group booking

Use : Mark booking as group booking. 

When : Available only when the number of rooms are more than one for a booking.
