What is Reports?

Reports are a collection of all your bookings data in an organized manner. You can view, analyze, filter, sort, download and print booking reports according to your need. OYO OS offers you a pool of ready to use reports named as ‘System Reports’ and you may create your own reports and save it with any name you want. These reports will then be available under ‘My Reports’.


Why you should use Reports?

Reports will help you understand and analyze all your bookings data, without spending much time on it. You may select a date range and learn your monthly statistics, booking-wise revenue, total tax paid, booking source, guest requests, meal plan and much more.


Types of Reports 

1. System Reports

OYO OS offers a variety of system reports which are ready to use at any point of time. You can select a date range and get a report according to selected filters.

2. My Reports

You can create your own customized report in just a few steps. Make use of available filters and your ‘my style’ report will appear on the screen.


Note : 

  • All custom reports created will appear in ‘All Reports’ list in 'My Reports' menu. 

  • You can add a new report or make changes to your existing custom report by clicking the setting mark on the top right corner of the screen. This will take you to ‘Custom Reports’ available under ‘Settings’.  


How to open Reports in OYO OS?

Step1 : Go to Reports > System Reports or My Reports 


Step2 : Click on System Reports and you will see the screen below.



Step3 : Click on My Reports and you will see the screen below.



Most Viewed Reports

The ‘Most Viewed’ is a shortcut panel available at Reports screen and helps you open your most used reports in one click.


Note : Please note that these shortcuts are automatically created by the system and are according to your most used or viewed reports.

Report Type

Description

1

B2B Report

It shows reports of bookings that are related to corporate accounts. 

Main Fields : Booking Id, Guest Name, Category, Client, Type, Arrival, Departure, Room Night, Total Value, Paid By Guest, Credit.

Booking Source

It shows reports according to source (OTA like Rakuten, Jalan, Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, Walk-in, OYO app, Direct etc.) of the booking. 

Main Fields : No. Of Bookings, Room Nights, Room Revenue, % Of Revenue, ARR.

Bookings

It gives booking-wise revenue & payment split for the Used Room Nights (URNs) in the selected date range. 

Main Fields : Booking Id, Guest Name, Status, Arrival, Checkin Time, Departure, Checkout Time, Source, Room Category, Room No., etc

Cashier

It shows the cash and card collections by each cashier during a business day. Collections are segregated into revenue or security deposit. 

Main Fields : Shift Number, Cashier, Drawer, Opening Balance, Total Cash Collection, Total Card Collection, Collected At Hotel, Closing Balance, Start Time, End Time.

Day End

It shows a day’s total revenue (room and food), payment modes breakup, bookings, taxes and security deposit information. 

Main Fields : Room Revenue, Other Sales, Payment Information, Hotel EDC Payment Splits, Room Statistics, Guest Statistics, Booking Source and Room Tax.

Facilities Invoice

It shows the invoices generated for orders of additional facilities at the hotel, if any, like Restaurant, Convention center.

Guest Requests

It shows a detailed breakdown of requests/memos by customers.

In House

It shows a list of bookings that are currently in-house, or checked in for today.

Invoice

It shows all the invoices made for bookings, for the selected date range.

Meal Plans

It shows different types of meal plans that were ordered with bookings.

Monthly statistics report

It shows daily revenue for each day of the month with all the property operations.

No Show and Cancellation

It shows a list of no shows and cancellations up to the current date.

Payment Split

It shows how the payment was split between different forms of payment for the URN based bookings.

Main Fields : Prepaid, OYO EDC, Cash, Cheque, Hotel EDC, Credit, Bank Transfer, Wallet, OYO Wallet, Owner OTA, Guest Not Paid, etc.,

Reservation

It shows inventory statistics such as total rooms, sold rooms, blocked rooms and average occupancy) and channel split (Walk in, OTA, OYO channels).

Revenue

In addition to revenue and channel split, performance indicators like ARR with tax and ARR without tax are also included.

Room Statistics

It shows statistics for all rooms or allows you to filter by room category to display Room Statistics (Total Days, Total Rooms Available, Total Rooms Occupied, Total Rooms Blocked), Performance Statistics (Total Room Revenue, Percent Occupancy, Average Room Rate) and Guest Statistics (Total Guests, ARR per Guest). This will be displayed according to the selected date range.

Transactions

It shows all the different payment transactions conducted at the property in the selected date range. Data can be filtered by Charge Type, Payment Mode and Cashier.
