Want to reserve a specific room for a special booking ?
Here is how the pin a room feature can help you :
To specifically reserve a room for a particular guest - You can view the customer preferences in the notes and reserve a certain room for that customer according to their preferences.
The pinned room is not a part of the automatic allocation system - OYO OS will not assign that room to any other booking for the same dates.
The property manager can pin a room or un-pin a room (for an existing booking or for a new booking).
The property manager can also view all pinned rooms and modify them.
The following process needs to be followed to pin a room for a booking :
A room can be pinned in two methods.
Method 1- Booking view :
Step 1: Select ‘Booking’ on the left and open a booking
Step 2: Select the 'Change' next to the rooms assigned to open a menu > Select 'Pin Room' from the options.
Method 2 - Calendar View :
Step 1: Open the Calendar View to select an upcoming booking > Select the booking to open its details on the calendar.
Step 2: Select 'Pin Room' to pin a room successfully.
Please note:
- You can only pin a room after creating a booking and only after a room has been assigned to it. Please assign a room to the booking to pin a room.
- The pinned booking will have a pin symbol on the booking page. A pinned room booking looks like this :
To un-pin a room, simply open the booking and select “unpin room” option :
